The Relationship Between Archaeologists and Biblical Scholars

Hanthan talks with Ari Barb about his new book on the history of Judaism. He also discusses how archaeology can be used by biblical scholars to help interpret texts that talk about israel's history. The author says he doesn't look at beliefs because it's very hard to understand from physical remains but even from written remains. HANTHAR: Archaeology is incredibly valuable if we're interested in seeing what people are actually doing and thinking so i would caution against using text as a tool for religious belief.
