The Esoteric Route to Soul Steps
The soul step is a complex combination of 11.25, 22.5 and 22.5 degrees. The highest position is the inside ball of the foot slash big toe, the lowest position is the outside heel. It teaches you how to pitch your weight forward and take weight out of the calcaneus while sort of spring loading the foot in this I can't collapse and a pronate. And so by doing that inherently, you literally become more informed and educated to tip the balance of your myofascial nervous system control.
