A Look at Fungus

Mushrooms have been around for a million years, but only found in the fossil record. Some are as tall as trees and were thought to be plants until mychologists looked at their remains. Most fungis spend most of their lives as a twisting, knotting, branching network of tubular cells called micelium. It's how fungy feed - they form a network to do so.
