Theodoric the Ostrogoth
Manlius Manlius was a member of an aristocratic family, but his dad died when he was young. He rose to prominence in Rome as the city is in decline. His life mission was to translate Plato and Aristotle into digestible forms for everyone. And so he served under a guy named Theodoric The Ostrogoth - one of the coolest names I've ever heard.
