The Top Gun Dogfights
Every beat of every dogfight was worked out by a top gun dogfight specialist called Tambo. The problem is that 90% of it looks kind of slow and not that exciting on camera because it's very hard even though the jets are going incredibly fast. We went through every shot in the movie forensically dozens and dozens of times you know over months to make sure everything had to be completely awesome from beginning to end.
