The human species is not designed to be chill, right? Because think about it. Our ancestors that had the genetic variation, let's say hypothetically, of chilling, they got eaten or beaten,. And so that was not an evolutionary adaptation that you would wanna have trying to survive for the past 200,000 years. We are hardwired to be this way. The same animal instinct to keep striving, to keep achieving, to never sit still. This is what helped us achieve scientific revolutions and relive revolutions. I think we should be very thankful for that drive. But it also means we need to know how to harness it and not let it get the best of us.
