Utilitarianism

Stephen: I had a similar journey to you Stephen mine was more I didn't have a strong opinion about it until I read Scott Alexander's consequentialist FAQ. The thing with utilitarianism so has to do with if you've got a set of options and or I think this might be true of any set of objects generally like sort of set theoretically If there's certain axioms which if they're true for this set of things then you can construct some sort of function that enables you to choose between them right?
