The French Taste Lessons - What Do You Provide?
It started in France. It was a French wine expert called Jacques Poise, who started it really in 1974. He felt they should be exposed to the whole joy and diversity of what food had to offer. But it only became a big international movement in 1990 when someone called Stina Algudson in Sweden founded her own version of the French taste lessons. And it then spread from there to Finland. In Finland, it's a universal part of every child's education. It's taught in all preschools. Also in the Netherlands. It's in Japan. And I'm just so excited to have been part of people bringing it here to Britain. What do teachers need to do?
