Chidi's History of Sexuality
Chidi Munnani is a British historian who wrote about the French Revolution. His work focuses on sexuality and how working class sexuality exploded into public space. The Tuileries garden in Paris was turned into a cruising spot for men, seeking sex with men and a workplace for prostitutes for women during the 1790s. Chidi: "The pedarasts and prostitutes of Paris sullied the prize of the bourgeoisie's victory over the Ancien regime"
