The Role of Emotional Content in Cognitive Processes

Ralph and I were studying the ways in which the processing of emotional content was dependent on awareness, on attention, on context. We came to the same conclusion independently via a different set of studies that looking at it as this independent system is problematic. From that point we proposed an alternative framework to look at the system one in which it was embedded into networks that participate in many other processes.
