The Body Expresses the Person
The theology of the body is that the body expresses the person. John Paul II says man's knowledge of himself or our self-knowledge goes hand in hand with knowledge of the world. The human body in its male and female complementarity has what John Paul calls a spousal attribute. Two ways of being human, male and female.
