How Much Does Carbon Storage Really Do?
The rhizomes themselves have a 20 to 25 year life cycle. The stock itself is where all the energy comes from. It's so it's green, right? So that green, yummy stuff is up there. And then it gets pulled in all those nutrients that are in the stock when it dies off getting pulled into the rhizome. But the nice thing, of course, as you know, with these kinds of plants is that you're not tilling the soil every year. You don't have to remove that carbon.
