Is There a Threshold for Hypertension in Pregnancy?
It's my understanding that there is no threshold for a hyper tension diagnosis with self modering of blood pressure at home right now. Is that true? When we started it wasn't at all clear what the correct threshold is, and i'm not sure that it isn't any clearer now. We were very keen to be fairly conservative in these trials because both trials really, as I mentioned, were in the context of an evidence base of a hundred pregnant individuals. And now we're doing, between the two trials, over three thousand pregnant individuals. So it was a very big step changed, but one where we felt that we should be reasonably conservative in our practicals.
