Pharaoh has been breaking both of the two great commandments, not loving god and not loving neighbour. He says to them, i have sinned against the lord your god and against you. And now he's repenting of both, or so he claims. But is it? It wasn't for pharaoh. In verse 22, moses stretched forth his hand toward heaven, and there was a thick darkness in all the land of egypt.
