There are many, many norms that are just not clearly related to and are radically under determined by whatever the biological process is. So there's a lot of room for reorganization and renorming of social roles. I actually think there is something to be a biological human being, but that's not what makes us what we are as social individuals. Yeah. You also draw a distinction between a scriptivist and volunteerist views of the relationship. Right. The kind of essentialism I'm looking at is not biological, biologic. Yes.
