How to Graduate in Mathematics

I wanted to go do a PhD in mathematics because that was a way to learn more mathematics. I had some teachers who had done PhDs both in the US and in Germany and they said yes, you should go. The number was limited by how much money I had to apply to schools. And I got into Stanford. That's like, that's not trivial. It was a very good school. If you have a good medical school, you must be good at everything.
