The Rise and Fall of Bruno Brage
In 1969, Bruno Brueghe called the offices of the Arab League in Geneva and informed a secretary that he would like to join an armed Palestinian organization. A few months later, in December of 1969, a department store in Bruno's hometown was set ablaze. Could the blaze have been a rite of passage for a newly enlisted member of the PFLP? We'll never know for sure. What we do know is that in February 1970, a year on from the attempted hijack at Zurich airport, Bruno Brage was on the move. Destination, Lebanon.
