The History of the Middle Ages

Anthony Rose's grandfather suggested that he write a history of the Middle Ages. He had no idea what it was about, but decided to try and find out. The conversation went on for some ten minutes before his grandfather asked him if he would be able to do any work in New York when he got back from an engagement later this afternoon. It was due to this encounter that work had come into his life as a permanent idea. In contrary to the most accredited copybook logic, he managed to divert himself with more than average content.
