There are two components in my opinion that you have to learn from someone a little bit because it's faster so you don't have to but I think when you can actually just go in like if somebody's listening to this and be like well I'm gonna focus on lighting. If you're really skilled at lighting you can make those in-game cinematics looks just so much better than they would without the skill. The only way to get there is by starting as a low artist and then you kind of just work your way up and you kind of apprentice under someone, he says.
