The Propensity for Fear in the Box

We all, with a few exceptions have experienced fear. Is it nature or nurture them? I'd say we have something like the raw ingredients, for fear, or a propensity for fear in the box. The way those ingredients come together and interact with the environment are impossible to understand without looking at the outside world. But you can still make a strong case for something like blank slateism. There is no sense in which an idea or feeling of fear is imprinted on the mind or body for that matter.
