Is the Director a Good Director?

Director Philip Noyce's father had been a member of this real life force Z. So as an actor, you would feel confident that the director has great knowledge of the subject and respect. In an ideal world, everything you're saying would be a yes, but I'm not sure about that in the real world. Sometimes being too close or like too personally involved with material might mean you're like too sensitive, too overprotective. Anyway, let's wait and see what happens.
