The Effects of Stress on the Body
Stress is obviously something that we are all dealing with right now and in general. And there are consequences to stress. So for example, your hair can be gray. But not very much is known about how like what the neural mechanisms are for how these stress signals are transduced to the periphery. The first paper we'll talk about is titled hyper activation of sympathetic nerves drives depletion of melanocytes themselves. This is from a number of authors including from Harvard and MIT and then two medical schools in Brazil.
