We hold on to what we receive as a personal threat like a threat to self. And in reality a lot of what hurts us is just a thing that happened and it happened coincidentally to us because it's part of you know our life's path but it has nothing to do with us specifically. So why forgive? Why choose to undo this or reinterpret this part of your groove? Well first of all it is good for your body. Forgiving lowers blood pressure and reduces strain on your heart. It also reduces depression, anger, stress and it just contributes to a positive outlook overall. The real reason to forgive is not for others. Like to let go of the shit that's dragging
