Neurodevelopmental Issues - Is Shyness a Symptom of Another Problem?

Some children are very introverted and sometimes they need a little bit of time just to kind of come out of that shell. For some children, shyness is a symptom of another problem that they have. Many children that we see are very hypersensitive in their hearing. And so an environment which for you and I might see normal can actually be frightening for them. So again, it depends on the child.
