The Argument for Self Actualization

Being happy means you don't want to change society. Instead, he says, this is him again, instead, it encourages nonconformity and letting go in ways that leave the real engines of repression intact. The de-sublimation involved in this sort of self actualization is itself repressive as it weakens the necessity and power of the intellect. It does not revel in the archetypal personal release of frustration, hopeless resurgence of the id which will sooner or later succumb to the omnipresent rationality of the administered world. That's your matrix, blue pill, but which recognizes the horror of the whole and the most private frustration and actualizes itself in this recognition.
