Is My Parent Going to Be Comfortable With Setting Her Boundaries?
"I would say that the first time I'd be very clear and say, you really want me to play with you now. And ah, it's hard because I have to do this," she says. "And then every once in a while, not every time she says it, but everyonce in a while,. you're going to say, ah, I hear you, you still want to play with me." If children could just say it like that, wouldn't it be easier for us to make peace with this for ourselves? She asks: Is my parent going to be comfortable with setting her boundaries?
