There are these two big elephants in the room of dark matter and dark energy. There is widespread speculation as to what's really going on. We have something that we always say a standard cosmological model. In some sense, it's remarkable. You can account for many, many observations on the basis of this standard cosmologically model. But by the way, we have never discovered a fundamental scale or field. Finally we discovered the higs. So maybe it's not such such a terrible idea.
