The Death of Aaron
By the time he was 16, Aaron's self-harm had gone really bad. He referred himself to social services and also spoke to a mental health worker. But there wasn't much they could do except sent him home to his abusive family who whether they knew it or not made him feel utterly worthless,. At that point, I think I was wearing that darkness like I was a blanket, like it was a coat, like I was wearing, putting on the dark.
