The Age of Steroid Pulses in Pediatric ALL
In the modern era, frequent pulses of increase in steroids are associated with increased toxicity. It's possible that any benefit conferred by Vin-Christine steroid pulses will be ever more marginal as powerful immunotherapeutic approaches such as CAR T-cells and antibody drug conjugates are incorporated into frontline therapy. The next research article is entitled, Phase 2 Clinical Trial Evaluating a Battercept in Patients with Steroid Refractory Chronic Graph v. Hosts Disease.
