Doing Data Science on Global Poverty?

You have to remember data scientists of the world that our skills are very much rewarded in the private market in the developed world. And so you could do a lot of good by going, getting a higher name job and giving a lot of money to people that are great for the world. You should always ask yourself, am I doing something that a local person could not have done, right? Is it really needed to have this high end expertise here to improve things because wages in developing countries are very low.
