Aristotle figured that her uterus had gotten lodged in her throat. It had strayed from its proper crotch region up into her throat. This was properly woman outside her place outside the private sphere. The treatment of the hysteric patient prior to world war one was the treatment of a stray uterus. Woman always occurred in some other place. Some place beyond the masculinized world of publicity of the public sphere. Was to show up as this kind of anomalous being unlike any woman you had ever experienced.
