Joseph's Reason Why He's Not Going to Succeed

Mordecai is reminiscent of Joseph. He resists and he doesn't want to do that because he cannot sin against not pot of her, but against God. I think Joseph here is representing what Adam ought to be as a righteous person. And we experience this sorrowful and yet always rejoicing quality of life in the lives of the patriarchs.
