204 - Blame and Responsibility

Stoic Coffee Break

CHAPTER

The Just World Hypothesis

The universe is not just or fair, at least not what we might consider fair. To pretend otherwise is to ignore reality. The blame for them may well lie outside of ourselves because we didn't have control over all the factors that led to any of these outcomes. In our personal lives, there will be a lot of things that will happen to us that are deftly not our fault. We are not at fault or to blame, but itis our responsibility to do something about it.
