Hale lets Clem Clementine go without any fight whatsoever. All the fights gone out of her as soon as she sees Bernard's message. I'm just surprised she's rational enough to accept that. She seemed pretty emotional for a large part of the scene. Not even they had not tearing herself up. There is a very real transformation that happens when you inhabit a physical form for long enough. But I don't know where they're going with that if anywhere.
