The Importance of Belief in Buddhism
For a long time I couldn't decide how to believe in enlightenment when I was sort of my first years in the Dharma. It's beyond our experience, that's the whole kind of point of it. We're sort of doing something in a way that we don't quite understand when we're engaging with myth and imagination and ritual. But then I still want to know in a way why myth matters or how it works, what it's really sort of form.
