The Impassible God in a Nutshell
The impassable god is in a state of pure undisturbed bliss or happiness that is somehow grounded entirely in himself. He literally has no sympathy or compassion, nor any literal mercy. According to the classical tradition, all of god's love is only self love. So i can already imagine that your sort of internet classical theist is going to be really upset with you right now because you said he literally doesn't have compassion. And to be clear, when we are making all these identity claims, this is not hyperbole. This is the literal view.
