What's Happening in the Real World?

People who think of themselves as lucky are more open to opportunities and aware of the world around them. This means they might then notice things that other people, kind of unlucky people, don't notice. So again, what's happening there is not this sort of mysterious force in the universe that's benefiting some people and not others. It's the fact that those people that think of ourselves as lucky are just generally noticing stuff more.
