The Optimism of Graham
I love that so much about him relative to other Marxists who write and think a lot about culture. He's not looking at that culture because you could see a type of leftist critique that looks at culture to explain why actually political transformation is impossible. But he thinks no, the point of the party is to assess those internal contradictions and find their way through them. And so if the party isn't doing that, then you know, as kind of later you're saying, beginning that's on the party.
