The Importance of Intentional Design in Gameplay
The game's constantly training out new characters. Once you recruit them or you have some sort of interaction with them, then essentially they become like permanent characters. We tried not to anticipate too much about what a player might think is interesting. There's nothing in our data that can anticipate this character is going to be interesting to players because that's just like a completely subjective thing. This person looks like my aunt, so I'm going to recruit her, right? You can't anticipate that.
