The Role of Normativity in Marxism
I find it really interesting that in your debates with other Marxists, you want to hold on to a conception of human nature. So you disagree with the anti-humanists about this. And yet you want to prohibit that conception of humannature from working as a foundation for a normative vision. There's nothing about what humans are like that tells us exactly what's the right natural social form or economic form or political structure to live under.
