When I started reading this book I couldn't stop underlining things. It kind of redefines what a bean counter is in this mechanized version of human and commodified time. How do you think you came to this idea of observing the things that are closest to us? My mom does respite care for foster families, which is basically like you're a designated babysitter. She said if you push the stroller next to a shrub, the babies will just get in it. They want to grab it and put their face in the shrub.
