I entered Harvard in sociology thinking that I was going to be a sociologist. And then one day I randomly struggled upon a course taught by Alice Turin, she's still at Harvard teaching theory. She hooked me in like four hours, the first two weeks of lectures and so I became so convinced that I had to study this stuff in detail.
