Genetics suggests that if there's thousands of genetic differences affecting a trait like reading disability, those genes are normally distributed. So some people will have a lot just by chance of those DNA differences that make it more likely that they'll have problems learning to read. And what I like about this is it's going to be the nail in the coffin of diagnoses. It doesn't work that way for common disorders or quantitative traits.
