McTominay gets a lot of stick for playing too deep. He's like an old fashioned box to box number eight in a 442 kind of, isn't he? I think the fact that he plays for Manchester United is like people expect him to,. Like the base level of good is a lot higher. So if he played for West Ham next to Wright, everyone would be like, pretty good. Mourinho used him as a political pawn to say, I need more players. When that was the reason he got brought into the team, IMO.
