The History of Constantinople
There were five patriarchal or ecumenical C's anyways. The first three that were important were Rome, Antioch, and Alexandria. Later added to this group of important C's are Constantinople. And then even later than that, Jerusalem. Despite its importance as a holy site, Jerusalem didn't have the same sort of ecclesiastical importance as these others.
