How to Be a Community-Owned Business
You have to reserve your shares before the 27th of June. There will be a 48-hour period for people who've reserved. Your food choices are a political act. It's a vote for the world you want to create. If we don't have food, we are out of here. And I think purpose, as my granny used to say, is a huge gift. As Dave mentioned earlier, we do have so much agency. People can feel disenfranchised disillusioned, fed up. Mental health issues are prevalent in our society. We're really at the stage of going, well, how can we become more community owned? So that's the whole crux of it.
