Is There a Need for Creative Thought in Science?
I think a lot of it comes down to incentives because yeah in the chapter in Brazil he kind of sat in or he asked some students to you know kind of show them how the classes were taught and basically the exams were just essentially testing your your memorization ability so there wasn't really the need I suppose for creative thought. Ultimately if we're concerned about true education then we need to go beyond those memorizations absolutely, says Professor David Attenborough.
