Introduction

The City of the Future is a smart city that knows everything about you, from how you like your coffee to whether you've broken the law. Smart cities are intended to create jobs, curb pollution, and cultivate a healthy middle class. When we're connected through the internet and smart phones, urban managers can more easily decipher our needs. The term was used to paint a picture of transforming towns into tech-enabled oasis powered by sensors.
