When we get to the bottom line, they get less self critical. It gives you a little bit more mental space to do the thing. Oftentimes with an athlete, it's like they did make a mistake, you know, whatever. But they've never worked through the being mad at themselves. So i think those negative emotions that interrupt people's performance are actually, in their pure form, trying to help.
