The Labor Market Softening in the US
I think wage pressure is diminishing, but it's still elevated. We're not seeing the sort of numbers that we're seeing in 2021 when US wage growth was six percent. The Fed's rates raised by 500 basis points in 15 months. And normally, that would be more than enough to push the economy into recession. I mean, if you look at the small business survey from the NFIB, that's at recession levels.
